Claire Crause is a New York based artist, hailing from Ann Arbor, MI. Credits include Footloose (Kennedy Center, D.C), Only Human music video (Jonas Brothers), Merry & Bright (Broadway Dreams, Nashville), among others. She has performed several works by Spencer Liff, as well as works by Steven Blandino, Mimi Scardulla, and Tyler Hanes. She was featured in Dance Teacher Magazine in a partnering segment with Lauren and Christopher Grant. Crause is represented by the CESD Dance division and Print Modeling division, and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
Crause holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan, where she performed works by Gallim Dance Company's Andrea Miller and Batsheva Dance Company's Bosmat Nossan, among others including Peter Sparling, Amy Chavasse, Alex Springer and Xan Burley, and Robin Wilson.
Crause has performed with the NYC based LLMoves Dance Company under the artistic direction of Lindsey Miller, and has also performed original choreography at Symphony Space, the Mark Morris Dance Center, and at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, MI. Outside of performing Crause plays the violin and teaches fitness classes.
